Oscillator X Rocks Seattle

Oscillator X rocked Seattle last Tuesday night with Richard J Dalton and Alyson. Richard opened the night with an awesome mix of current hits and a few tasty surprises. He is truly a consummate professional – if you ever get a chance to catch one of his sets, don’t miss it. Alyson followed with a short set of her radio hits, giving it all she had and the crowd loved it. By the time Oscillator X hit the stage the energy in the club was high and Kyle, John and Zayney (the newest addition to OSX) brought the house down with a mix of Oscillator X, KaW and When Machines Dream songs, complete with Pyrotechnics, confetti launchers and Poi ball dancing. A big thank you to everyone who made it down to the Nectar – you were a great crowd and Oscillator X had a blast performing for you all. Alyson Joins Lineup For Nectar Show with Oscillator X

LA based artist Alyson has just confirmed her appearance as a special guest with Oscillator X and Richard J Dalton at Nectar in Seattle on March 24th. Alyson has enjoyed several top ten Billboard hits recently and has performed all over the country and as far as Greenland. Alyson has also been the recipient of quite a few awrds for her achievments such as “Top 40 Breakthrough Artist” , “Best Short Film – Musical Category” and the Billboard Song Contest. Oscillator X Show In Portland At Ground Kontrol

Oscillator X will be performing a show at Ground Kontrol in Portland, OR on Thursday, March 5th. Ground Kontrol is a very cool vintage arcade with over 90 of the best arcade games from the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s in an authentic gameroom environment. Original cabinets, original gameplay and original quarter slots, just like you remember! Pull on some Pumas and terrycloth wristbands, get in your stance, and prepare to immerse yourself in the electric glow of years gone by. Also of note for our machine dance friends, they also have DDR Extreme – making it the only place we know of in Portland where you can get drunk and play DDR . Unfortunately for our underage friends, we regret that this show is 21+. But don’t fret – we are working on an all ages show in Portland as well.  Hope to see all of you there and hang out!

The new single “Dynamo” from Oscillator X is now the #1 song on Seattles C89.5 radio station. Additionally the song is climbing up the charts in Las Vegas, Portland, San Fransisco and Delaware on all of the dance stations. SCI Recordings Joins ReverbNation

SCI Recordings is pleased to announce that we have joined ReverbNation. ReverbNation is a premier music community featuring thousands of major label and independent artists and labels. SCI Recordings has constructed profiles on ReverbNation for the label and all of our artists (a total of 11 profiles!). Visitors to our ReverbNation pages can stream full length songs, view unique photos and artwork not found elsewhere on the web, and more. One of the coolest features of ReverbNation is the ability to sign up for our mailing list and become a street team member. SCI RECORDINGS IS TAKING OUR SHOW ON THE ROAD!

We are currently trying to plan our Fall/ Winter performance schedule – and you can help! We are looking for events and venues to perform at worldwide. There are three ways that you can help:

1. Do you know of any events or venues in your area we might be able to perform at? The type of events we do concerts at are quite varied, such as anime or video game conventions, machine dance tournaments, LAN parties, etc. As far as venues go…. well, anything goes! In addition to the usual clubs and bars, we play at arcades, bowling alleys (cosmic bowling), community centers and even house parties (gotta big house, cool neighbors and a bunch of friends? – let’s do it!) In addition, do you know “someone on the inside” at one of these events/ venues? Would you be willing to help us book the show and/or promote it? Contact us HERE.

2. Demand Us! Click on the Demand It widget below or on our MySpace page and tell us where we should perform. This will help us determine where we should look into booking some shows. If enough people demand us from a particular area, you can bet we will try to put together a concert there soon. Also this will give us a little leverage with promoters if we can show them that enough people want to see us perform there.

3. Take a second to vote in the poll to the right and let us know if we need to be looking to book an all ages show in your area or if a 21+ venue works for you. We realize that alot of our friends and fans are under 21 – so it would do no good for us to play in a 21+ nightclub in your town if you can’t come hang out with us

SCI Artists to be featured in new Machine Dance Game

Positive Gaming unveiled their new machine dancing game iDance at the 2008 Machine Dance European Championships in Amsterdam. The company revealed a small preview of music for the new game, including Rock Robotic by When Machines Dream. SCI Recordings is proud to be a part of this new venture – look forward to more news on iDance and SCI Recordings as the release date approaches!

SCI At EC 2008 – Amsterdam, The Netherlands

SCI artists Kyle Ward and John Mendenhall just returned home from the Netherlands after perfoming at EC 2008. The event, sponsored by Positive Gaming featured the best machine dance competitors from all over Europe battling it out for the cup. The event kicked off with a party to announce Positive Gaming’s new Impact dance platforms and upcoming machine dance game iDance. John & Kyle performed along with G-Powered from Finland. John, Kyle and SCI would like to thank all of the European fans and friends for their support and kindness.

Off To Europe!
